Today, wasn’t a good day for me. 😔 Throughout the day, I was episodic of low blood sugar. Dexcom continuous glucose monitoring system G5 tells me at anytime my blood sugar (glucose) level 24/7. I have this, for that monitoring system sure got it’s work out for the day, today.
Now, I’ve been diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes since I was 12, almost 13. Since my diagnosis, I knew that I had diabetes, yet there was a little rebellious against having diabetes until my almost, should have been, deadly accident @ the age of 18. Since then, I have accepted that I have diabetes, but long all of it was easier.
Today, I long to not have diabetes, especially Type 1. After experiencing multiple low blood glucose attacks today, it got me to thinking… God doesn’t promise us pig tails & roses a.k.a an easy life. However, God promises us strength to get through whatever you’re going through, though. Just take a look @ Christ, who suffered an unbelievable amout of pain, even death on the cross.
In fact, 1 Peter 2:21 says, “To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in His steps.” Even till death? Yup. Further, you should be a “living sacrifice” until physical death.
In order to live a true life, you need to go through some pain. It’s a requirement for the true life Christian. There is a new Christian song by Manic Drive called “Easier.”
