This was a pic taken from my phone. Fantastic, huh! No? It’s alright, you might be saying. Well, how about this one…
It’s a nice pic! But, then again, it is only a pic. No evidence that my mother & I were there. I could show you the hotel we stayed at & the receipts in Flagstaff, AZ, just a hop, skip & a jump to the Grand Canyon National Park. Still not convinced?
“You could have uploaded a couple of pics from whose nowhere,” you say. And, unfortunately, I would have to say that is true. Given my admittance, there is no way you are going to believe me, until I show you proof positive that my mother & me were there, or at least me because my mother has this incredible fear of heights. So look…
“Ok, maybe you went, but then again, you could have photo shopped yourself into the pic. I won’t believe it till you actually go with me to the Grand Canyon National Park,” you sternly respond. What is it going to take for you to believe?
Sadly, this is what Christians face all the time, trying to convince the world that because of sin Jesus Christ came, died, rose again, then was here after He rose from the dead 50 days, & went up to heaven to prepare a place for us believers in Christ. That is God the Father’s plan, & Jesus Christ is the only one who could pay it for us.
That is just the way it is. We cannot do anything, I mean anything, that can warrant us to go to heaven. Please, put down your pride, ego, or whatever is holding you back from making the descion to live for Christ, taking up your cross to follow Him (Luke 9:23). In the later portion of the New Testament, it says in 1 Peter 2:21, “To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in His footsteps.”
So, it seems pretty evident that those that call Jesus Christ their Lord & Saviour, then you must be willing to live & die like Christ (not that you are helping Christ, but your honor).
Are you willing to accept this honor traveling down the road of life?
