Just as was rolling in to my second job today, I was ever so softly greeted by the one that was doing an internal investigation. If you know me, I would like to keep the peace as much as possible, in work, at home, where ever I might be. That’s just how I am, whether good or bad. So, for me to be greeted with an internal investigation heightened my awareness.
The person asked me some questions about work and staff. This same person tried to put me at ease, saying that it wasn’t about me but an internal investigation. That still does not make me feel any better as I answered the questions pointing out one specific person who I like.
As Jesus said in John 8:31b-32, “If you abide in my Word, you are truly My disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” Those verses kept echoing in my head as I answered those questions. It wouldn’t take a rocket scientist to figure the one who told the honest truth. Yet I knew tha Jesus lives within me, and I couldn’t face Him if I lied.
