This is a continuation of yesterday’s post. While coming to work, I was still kinda bummed over yesterday afternoon (see When Telling the Truth Hurts…). However, I did it & don’t have any regrets doing it. I did not buckle under pressure thanks to the Holy Spirit who lives inside me. Further, I am at work with that said staff. This particular staff doesn’t know that he is being investigated (or I don’t think so cause if he did then he is the type that it will make it known to everybody that is involved with the sitiation).
Then, I saw Scripture on my phone. It comes from Colossians 3:17 (ESV). It goes like this, “And whatever you do, in word or in deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.”
Whatever? Whatever! In work or in deed? That is what the Scripture says. Giving thanks to God? It appears so, & that is where I really failed. I was so concerned about how I would look, yet that Scripture won out this time.
Think about how freeing practicing the Scripture can be? Think about how freeing living like Jesus can be according to 1 Peter 2:21? Think about how freeing living like Jesus through the Holy Spirit? Are not for sure if you are living with the Holy Spirit? How can Jesus Christ be in you without the Holy Spirit? If you have Jesus Christ in your life, then you have the Holy Spirit individually. 😁 How freeing! 😄
