“Therefore, if anyone who is in Christ, he has become a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come” (2 Corinthians 5:17 ESV).
As you countdown the hours to the new year, God gave us memory as a good thing, not a bad thing. It has been changed ever since Adam & Eve first sinned in the garden of Eden to a corrupt memory. Instead of memories of all that God has provided for them in the garden, Adam & Eve’s memories are of how they failed. Tragic.
Maybe, you might think you could have done differently? Romans 3:23 answers that because it says, “For all have sinned & fallen short of the glory of God” (ESV) eliminating the fact that you (or I for that matter) could have done anything different.
As you look over the highs & the lows of this past year, the good thing is that those bad, corrupt things which you found yourself @ the center of in 2017, just wait a few hours & it will be 2018- a year with new beginnings. 😁
