In America, the month of February has a few notable things that occur annually in it. One-it is Black (African American) month that is the shortest out of the twelve. This month is dedicated to people that have more pigment in their skin than caucasians do, yet “blacks” have been continually down-pressed by the caucaisions here in America. Since our founding, just short of 250 years, you would have thought we moved on, but sadly it is still prevalent in our current society. Don’t get me wrong, I wonder how we would survive as a nation without those that have a little bit more pigment in their skin put there by the Creator-God. We even fought a war over it; it was called the Civil War.

There were two sides: The North (headed by General Ulysses S. Grant under the leadership of our 16th President Abraham Lincoln) and the South (headed by General Robert E. Lee. How fortunate was the outcome of that war, I still see the remnants of that war still hanging around today, nearly 155 years later. For we just elected as our 44th president, President Barack Obama which is our first black president. (With whatever political side you lean on, that doesn’t stop history from happening or taking place) Yet, you may be appalled at the U.S.A. for choosing the shortest month to celebrate what some notable blacks did (i.e. George Washington Carver or Martin Luther King Jr.); however, let it be said that the blacks get the month of love in which many Americans truly dedicate that month to them.
Two-As Americans we celebrate our Presidents, not only for those who are presently in office but ones that are living and deceased. However, the social and political rhetoric is getting to much for our nation to handle. Just 35 years ago, when President Reagan just won his second term, the U.S. House and Senate, Vice-President George H. Bush, and President Ronald Reagan by and large worked together. Sure, they had their differences, but the main thing is they took seriously that they work for the American people. Not today.

Yet all the True Life Christians who are American people have the right to vote in for president and the vice-president of the the United States of America. True Life Christians of America have the right to choose, but God is in-charge as Romans 13:1-7. However, there is a vast majority of American people who are True Life Christian’s that seem to think that if you can legislate morals it will set this nation on a 180 degree turn. I, Darren L. Beattie, am trying to remind other True Life Christians of what Romans 13:1-7 says:
“Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God. Therefore whoever resists the authorities resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment. For rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad. Would you have no fear of the one who is in authority? Then do what is good, and you will receive his approval, for he is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword in vain. For he is the servant of God, an avenger who carries out God’s wrath on the wrongdoer. Therefore one must be in subjection, not only to avoid God’s wrath but also for the sake of conscience. For because of this you also pay taxes, for the authorities are ministers of God, attending to this very thing. Pay to all what is owed to them: taxes to whom taxes are owed, revenue to whom revenue is owed, respect to whom respect is owed, honor to whom honor is owed.” ESV

Thirdly-It just happens to contain Valentine’s Day (exactly in the middle of the month) symbolized by Cupid. However, way before cupid became a “thing,” one has ❤ The Author Of True Love ❤. For many verses in the Bible say that it is True; verses like JOHN 3:16 which states compassionately:
Yet, even this isn’t enough evidence for you, one can trace back to the beginning of the Holy Bible where God created the whole earth; created the animals on the ground, in the sea, and birds in the air; then He created man and woman in His own image (Genesis 1-2). For the Lord God created them, but they took the bite of that forbidden fruit of the cursed tree of the knowledge of good and evil. It is not like the Lord God didn’t warn them, but like children with them ever curious, Adam and Eve consumed that fruit with the help of a tempter, Satan. And that, they committed the first sin of the world. However, the reason why the Lord God did this is not to put an overwhelming burden upon Adam and Eve, but of extreme loving care. Just imagine sin in heaven since the tree of life was also there in the garden of Eden. That would be totally disastrous as sin is the opposite of perfection if they were to take a bite of the fruit that the tree of life contains. That’s extreme loving care.
God also sent His Son down here from heaven to make it possible for those who actively believe what the Son did for all of humanity. For John 3:16 says,
“For God so loved the world, that He gave his only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life” (ESV).
However, a view of a vengful, hateful God has been perpetrated by Satan. For God gave Adam, Eve, and the rest of humanity free will. The reason why He did that was because of God wants us to choose Him out of our own free will, not being forced to worship a God you don’t love.
In fact, that is strewn throughout the Old Testament; and it goes in a circular cycle. The Israelites kept on breaking the law of God, whom Moses was the messenger for. Moses (who wrote the first five books of the BIBLE) included a book to the priests called Leviticus. In this book, it contains all of incidences of things that could happen that were sin in the eyes of God, and thus different animal sacrifices for each one including the once a year sacrifices of a perfect white lamb. That is where the Old Testament ends, and with the arrival of Christ Jesus ushers in the New Testament.
Yet the Bible doesn’t let humanity in on what were His infancy months all the way up to His 3 year ministry in which He prophesied His death and resurrection a multitude of times (Matthew 16:21, 17:22, Mark 8:31-38, Luke 13:31). Yes, I know that the Gospel of Matthew has Him going with His physical parents to Egypt when He was a toddler (Matthew 2:13-23), and I also know that in the Gospel of Luke it has Him listening and asking the temple leaders questions at the age of 12 where Joseph and Mary thought they had the Holy Adolescent with them (Luke 2:41-52). Yet the Bible gives us all the information humanity needs to have us “live by faith alone.” And it is especially poignant in John 3:16-21:
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God. And this is the judgment: the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil. For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his works should be exposed. But whoever does what is true comes to the light, so that it may be clearly seen that his works have been carried out in God.” (ESV)
That is a tall order in which all of humanity cannot do alone. In fact, in Luke 9:23-25, Christ Jesus says,
“And He said to all, ‘If anyone would come after Me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow Me. For whoever look saves his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will save it. For what does it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses or forfeits himself?‘” (ESV)
And the Apostle Paul said this to the Galations, in chapter 2 verses 20 through 21:
“I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness were through the law, then Christ died for no purpose.” (ESV)
Or in 1 Peter 2:21 which empathatically states,
“For to this you have been called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you might walk in His steps.” (ESV)
What about Stephen in Acts 7? Just for giving a public speech in defense of Christ Jesus and belief in Him will lead to everlasting life, he got stoned to death. Are you willing to do that? In “The Insanity of God,” you will find 4 TRUE LIFE CHRISTIANS living in Somalia in the late 1990s who gave their life for just celebrating communion of the Lord Jesus Christ in a vacant, empty building, for Somalia is an actively Muslim country where they have no tolerance for anything that attempts to steal away from Muhammad.

Yet, if that weren’t enough, all of humanity has an insect who simulates our metamorphosis that happens upon physical death; it is the ugly, sometimes purely green catapillar undergoing metamorphosis to a beautiful majestic butterfly. However, this is True only after going through physical death.

Look, I could type all day and all night to convince you to become a True Life Christian who takes not the value of their own life to take the Gospel (like Nik and Ruth Ripken). However, it is time to take seriously the greatest mandate that has ever been given to True Life Christians around the world: that is to simply follow what it says in Matthew 28:19-20:
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” (ESV)
For Americans, there are three things I shared that make the month of February special. But if you are Christian Americans trying to fulfill your calling (1 Peter 2:21), then you will be bold in the face of danger to present Christ Jesus even though you might feel terrrified inside. For I have a pastor and a friend who says we are Christian Americans for our citizenship is in heaven. Really try and think about that because he is right. Once we have Truly accepted Christ by the free gift (which cost Him his physical life) to believe in Him (just as John 3:16 says), we are delightfully burdened with getting out the Gospel, sometimes over and over again. For it is through the ❤ The True Author Of True Love ❤ we get A Divine Example…
