“Jesus Christ, The True Miracle Worker Among All The Superheroes…”

Now it has been just about 2000 years since Jesus Christ had been punished for all of the humans’ sin given that we are living in 2020. Not only so those who would call themselves Christians within the first few hundred years after Christ’s crucifixion (* which means He horribly died on two cross beams of wood), millions of Christians believe that today. Unlike the the yearly perfect lamb in the Old Testament, Jesus Christ was a sacrifice perfect enough to cover all time to permanently replace the sacrifice.

Martin Luther (1483-1546) is a key figure whom put his body through such extreme torment as well as going through life as a professor of Theology, a priest, a friar, a monk, and wrote the 95 points of contention with the Roman Catholic church. Pope Leo X and the Holy Roman Emperor Charles V eventually excommunicated Martin Luther from Roman Catholicism (excommunication means you are forbidden to enter the physical church and destitute from God, Himself). Rather, being persistent of the truth, Martin Luther, instead, taught that entrance into heaven to see God and to experience the presence of God comes by the free grace of God given to all. Which is accurate. (Wikipedia, 2019).

Then there is this question of who should I follow from the Bible. The names like Abraham, Moses, or King David. After all, King David had a heart after God (Acts 13:22). Yes, there are many people that you could follow after. Yet, the Apostle Paul has something to say about this in writing to the Corinthian church:

One of you says, “I belong to Paul, ” and another one says, “I belong to Apollos.” When you say things like this, you are acting like people of the world. Is Apollos important? No! Is Paul important? No! We are only servants of God who helped you believe. Each one of us did the work God gave us to do. (1 Corinthians 3:4-5 NCV)

With all the people in the Scripture that are worthy to follow after, I suppose the Apostle Paul would be the primary example in the New Testament, except if you dare to follow after Jesus Christ. Yet accepting Jesus Christ’s bloodshed on the horrible, death-inducing cross and His resurrection from the tomb carved out of stone three days later is what rescues you from the ultimate torment: being forever lost without being able to see God the Father. Jesus Christ, His Son, said this:

The kingdom of heaven is like a man who was going to another place for a visit. Before he left, he called for his servants and told them to take care of his things while he was gone. He gave one servant five bags of gold, another servant two bags of gold, and a third servant one bag of gold, to each one as much as he could handle. Then he left. The servant who got five bags went quickly to invest the money and earned five more bags. In the same way, the servant who had two bags invested them and earned two more. But the servant who got one bag went out and dug a hole in the ground and hid the master’s money. “After a long time the master came home and asked the servants what they did with his money. The servant who was given five bags of gold brought five more bags to the master and said, ‘Master, you trusted me to care for five bags of gold, so I used your five bags to earn five more.’ The master answered, ‘You did well. You are a good and loyal servant. Because you were loyal with small things, I will let you care for much greater things. Come and share my joy with me.’ “Then the servant who had been given two bags of gold came to the master and said, ‘Master, you gave me two bags of gold to care for, so I used your two bags to earn two more.’ The master answered, ‘You did well. You are a good and loyal servant. Because you were loyal with small things, I will let you care for much greater things. Come and share my joy with me.’ “Then the servant who had been given one bag of gold came to the master and said, ‘Master, I knew that you were a hard man. You harvest things you did not plant. You gather crops where you did not sow any seed. So I was afraid and went and hid your money in the ground. Here is your bag of gold.’ The master answered, ‘You are a wicked and lazy servant! You say you knew that I harvest things I did not plant and that I gather crops where I did not sow any seed. So you should have put my gold in the bank. Then, when I came home, I would have received my gold back with interest.’ “So the master told his other servants, ‘Take the bag of gold from that servant and give it to the servant who has ten bags of gold. Those who have much will get more, and they will have much more than they need. But those who do not have much will have everything taken away from them.’ Then the master said, ‘Throw that useless servant outside, into the darkness where people will cry and grind their teeth with pain.’ (Matthew 25:14-30 NCV

All across humanity, not just in present times, has to have faith in Jesus Christ that He came down to earth from heaven, lived with His physical parents, at the age of 30 turned His carpentry profession into 3 years of going out among the Israelites teaching a radically different way and only way to get to God the Father. Since the message that Jesus taught for 3 years did put Him at odds with the religious elite, the religious elite wanted to put Him to death and eventually succeeded, but all of this was under God’s permission. Remember that nothing happens without God’s approval, and the result was God’s Son Jesus Christ bloody death on the cross because death is the penalty for sin (Romans 3:23).

For it was after Jesus Christ had said it so many times during His 3 years of ministry going out telling people the way to see God the Father while He was still living in earthly form. It was strategic and foretelling that when He was born the innkeepers had no room for them in the inn, but having compassion upon Joseph and Mary, the innkeepers sheltered the pregnant couple in a place the Inn’s barn in which the animals would stay. Thus, Joseph and pregnant Mary settled into the barn, as though it were, and using a feeding trough that was made from stone as His Holy cradle, foreshadowing the place where Jesus Christ’s dead body would lay for 3 nights (remember their day begins at night) *a conversation I had with my older daughter who is graduating from Liberty University ~ a Christian University in Lynchburg, Virginia, USA.

Yet several times Jesus declared that He would rise from the dead, not to be a zombie with no feelings, but Jesus Christ’s actual physical but yet spiritual life would exist after being dead for three nights. Roman guards could not stop Him. The religious elite of His day could not stop Him. The pragmatist or the busybodies of His day could not stop Him wondering how this was possible causing them not to believe.

The One and only Holy Man, Jesus Christ, had to die to provide us with Good Friday. However, a few nights later, the author of the come back to life after He was securely dead rose from the stone tomb guarded by several Roman guards. Does the Bible have the right to sue for copyright purposes among all the writers or those associated with Marvel or DC Comics? Well, I will leave that up to you. Just remember:

All others are figments of the world’s imagination. In fact, He was the only person to come back to life under His own power given to Him by God the Father. All these other “superheroes,” are just figments of our imaginations. But let us take a look at it more closely as among Jesus Christ’s various miracles was: changing water into wine at the wedding in Cana (John 2:1-12); healing of the officer’s son at Capernaum in Galilee (John 4:43-54); healing of a man who was unable to speak (Matthew 9:32-34); healing of an incurable person (John 5:1-15); raising Lazarus from the dead (John 11:1-45). Overall there were sum total of 37 healings of other people as recorded in Scripture (37 Miracles of Jesus) attributed to Jesus Christ, Son of Man, the Son of God; however, they forgot one: Jesus Christ rose from the dead (Matthew 28:1-10; Mark 16:1-8; Luke 24:1-12; John 20:1-10 ) which makes “Jesus Christ, The True Miracle Worker Among The Superheroes…”
