“For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Let not your prophets and your diviners, that be in the midst of you, deceive you, neither hearken to your dreams which ye cause to be dreamed. For they prophesy falsely unto you in my name: I have not sent them, saith the LORD. For thus saith the LORD, That after seventy years be accomplished at Babylon I will visit you, and perform my good word toward you, in causing you to return to this place. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.”
Jeremiah 29:8-13 KJV
Although this was written back when King Nebuchadnezzar had secure rule over the Israelites in Babylon, the basic concepts are in play here. As Ecclesiastes 1:4-11 states, the whole world is in a repetitive cycle as once again God is trying to give His children, the Israelites, a way out: the LORD (YHWH in the Hebrew, YAHWEH in English) of hosts says, “Look not to your prophets and your diviners, that be in the midst of you, deceive you, neither hearken to your dreams which ye caused to be dreamed. For they prophesy falsely in My name: I have not sent them, saith the LORD.”
We are in that repetitive cycle, ever since Covid-19 came on the scene and made it more pronounced. Early on in the pandemic, I’d say about 90 percent of the people that I know or around the state of the community of New Hampshire, where I live, are either a victim of fear or just so desperate to get back to the way things used to be, spurred on by the government, main stream news or social media websites. People want, so much, that the “health crisis” to be over with, so much so that they can live their “normal” lives — they will do almost anything to accomplish getting back to their normal way of life.
It began with a two week American shut down of work for all those who were considered non-essential workers. And that was laid out by the U.S. government. However, various states (which they had the right to do) began to extended it longer since fear of the dreaded COVID-19 had brought most of the people of America down to their knees. We began wearing surgical masks around our face due to the CDC promoting by social media websites and main stream news. I live in America, and it is supposed to be the land of the free and the home of the brave. Rather, through this pandemic, it has turned American people into the land of fear and government obedience (whether it be federal or state) in order to get back to what we used to have.
Christian Americans have been tricked into taking on the the role to obey government rather than God, including me for a short time when Covid-19 was in it’s beginning stages. For it doesn’t help when a majority of American churches are following governmental edicts. Since, at first, I thought that the dreaded COVID-19 was an election ploy. A ploy for what? A ploy for the Democrats to upstage the election. But once the election was stolen from the American people (you can see from watching 2000 Mules in which Dinesh D’Souza uncovers the real story behind the 2020 Presidential election), I was in confusion up until shortly after the election between President Trump and, then candidate, Joe Biden.
Two separate camps quickly gathered themselves together or, better yet, reformed— extreme liberals and extreme conservatives. I wrote a piece called “The Righteous Will Live By Faith Even In The Face Of Covid-19 way back when, in March 20, 2020, Americans were in the early stages of the “pandemic.” I still wasn’t buying all the restrictions that our federal and state government was handing down to us.
Almost instantaneously, the American people were overcome with these false prophets and soothsayers (diviners) on the internet through various podcasts and social media websites like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and the like. They are claiming mostly truth but their end game is tricking you into a lie. One “prophetess” says at the end of most statements, “Thus saith the Lord.” Obviously she doesn’t take that the Lord has spoken in the end of Revelation 22:18-19 seriously, or she wouldn’t have done it (that’s my own personal opinion).
What about the many false prophets that are out there now? How can we differentiate between the truth and what are lies? This is where satan is having a field day since what they are saying looks like truth, even using Scripture verses to back up what they said. I remember hearing that this could be the mark of the beast for about half of a year, but then it seemed to die down. According to the Bible, Christians will be arisen to heaven when Jesus comes down to meet with us in the skies. And the mark of the beast isn’t going to happen till Revelation 13:13-18. That’s where knowing your Scripture is crucial. For If the Holy Spirit is in you and guiding your every step, then you have nothing to worry about as long as you act in the Spirit. It’s when we are consumed with our flesh that it makes a negative difference. The flesh can’t coincide with the Holy Spirit. That means we need to carry our cross each day as Luke 9:23-26 states, and be humble as James 4:6 says, for it says in the Beatitudes in Matthew 5:3-12 the basic requirements to see God in heaven after you acknowledge, accept, and start living for Jesus Christ, which you do once you are truly saved.

*** Personally, I think President Trump and so called President Biden are two evil people and I’ll just leave it alone at that. However, one was used by God. ***
